Hostel and Mess

Hostel

IIIT Trichy provides excellent accommodation to its students, provided by NIT Trichy. The students are provided with all the amenities so that their stay here becomes a worthwhile experience.

Every hostel has a common room with AC and TV. Common rooms also have indoor table-tennis for sports recreation.

For first year UG boys, the accomodation is provided at Agate Hostel. It is a four seater hostel with a capacity of 308 students.

For second year UG boys, the accomodation is provided at Topaz Hostel. It is a single seater hostel with a capacity of 126 students.

For UG girls, the accomodation is provided at Opal C Hostel. It is a triple seater hostel with a capacity of 360 students.

Mess

IIIT Trichy provides mess facilities to it's students, provided by NIT Trichy. There are ten different mess available for the students, providing food of different cuisines.

The ten messes are:

• Mega Mess 1 GF : South Indian Veg (Firstman Management Services)
• Mega Mess 1 FF : North Indian Veg (Sakthis Kitchen)
• Mega Mess 2 GF : South Indian Non Veg (Hari Catering)
• Mega Mess 2 FF : North Indian Non Veg (Marvel Hospitality Services)
• Garnet Mess : Pure Veg Kailash Mess (Zenith Food Solutions)
• Amber Mess : Andra Menu Annapurna (Sri Sai Krupa Catering)
• Aquamarine Mess : Kerela Menu Sabari (Shaji Catering)
• Nilgiri and Himalaya (Old A and B Mess) : Mixed Indian Menu (Vinayak Catering)
• Opal Mess 1 : North Indian Mess (Raja Rajeshwari Catering)
• Opal Mess 2 : South Indian Mess (Kamdhenu Catering)
